Water Ripple Effect

V- BackwashPro Sediment Filter

Overview:

Sediments are fine particles of sand, silt, rust, or dust that enter the water supply through pipes and tanks.
These particles can damage appliances and reduce filtration efficiency.

Our V-BackwashPro Sediment Filter is a pre-filtration system designed to trap and remove physical impurities from water before it enters your primary treatment units. It ensures that larger contaminants never reach sensitive downstream systems like water softeners, RO purifiers, and pipelines.

What Does a Sediment Filter Remove?
Venetus Sediment Filters efficiently capture:

  • Dust, sand, and silt

  • Mud and turbidity-causing particles

  • Rust flakes from old pipelines

  • Scale chips and suspended solids

  • Organic debris and dirt

This makes the incoming water clean, clear, and easier to treat further.

How does V-BackwashPro Sediment Filter Work?
The backwash filtration system is a fully automatic self-cleaning water treatment unit designed to remove suspended particles, turbidity, and sediment from incoming water. It uses a packed bed of filtration media that traps contaminants during normal operation. When the media becomes saturated, the system performs an automated backwash cycle to restore filtration efficiency without the need for manual cleaning.

1. Filtration Process: Water enters the system and passes through a graded media bed. The media captures suspended solids, dirt, rust flakes, and other particulates, improving overall water clarity.
2. Automatic Backwashing: Once pressure drops or time threshold is reached, the system reverses the water flow.

This agitation loosens trapped impurities and flushes them out through a drain outlet.
3. Regeneration of Media Bed: After backwashing, the media settles back to its optimal configuration, ensuring stable and efficient filtration performance during the next cycle.
4. Continuous Supply: The unit is designed for reliable long-term operation with minimal user intervention.
